Visitor’s Pass & Identification Administration Facility and Gatehouse
U.S. Air Force Academy, CO

This 2,800 sf Pass and ID Administration Facility and Gatehouse conformed to U.S. Air Force Academy and international force protection standards. With storefront blast resistant exterior glass and bullet resistant glass for the gatehouse, the project also included an energy efficient geothermal heating and cooling system, and a new 41 car parking lot with extensive landscaping.

This Design/Build project involved the construction of 86,000 sf Visitor’s Control Center and two entry control gate facilities. The project included installation of all new utility systems, HVAC and EMCS systems, and a complete fire protection system. Exterior utility work included the construction of access roads, drives, security barriers, parking lots, walks, and landscaping.
